The mission of the BMES is to build and support the biomedical engineering community at a local, national and international level with activities designed to communicate recent advances, discoveries, and inventions; promote education and professional development; and integrate the perspectives of the academic, medical, governmental, and business sectors. Santa Clara University’s chapter of the BMES strives to connect all Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Pre-Health majors at SCU, along with anyone else who is interested in learning more about the biomedical field. Each quarter we host industry speakers, networking and informational sessions, and general meetings. Although encouraged, you do not have to be registered as a national BMES member to attend meetings and events.
